Default Frankenporsche....but interesting !

OK...I've been around here long enough to know there are very very few people who would be caught dead in this......while I greatly appreciated stock, I do have a side of me that likes hotrod, unique etc.

I am going to call this guy tomorrow and talk to him. Its such a frankenporsche that he does not even list the year...I;m guessing a '72 or earlier simply because of the longhood.

Slam away !

No longer really a Porsche . . . but I rather like it. Pretty tastefully done, but one has to wonder how long the 915 will hold up under all that power!

The VIN begins with "118"...11 indicates a 911, the 8 indicates the year.

A 1969 911 VIN would begin with 119, a '68 912 would be 128

Porsche used this numbering system only in 1968 and 1969.

Reminds me of that Johnny Cash song "one piece at a time" where he steals a Cadillac from the factory one part at a time and then puts it together and realizes the parts span 30 years.
