Stuttgart Eye Candy
Greetings,
Thought I'd send a post on what I did last Saturday, a "somewhat" typical summer weekend in Stuttgart - The Solitidering was a famous 12km race track near Stuttgart, Germany. It was built in 1903 and closed in 1965 for safety concerns as cars got faster. The racetrack is now a regular commuting road (lotsa' fun w/no traffic!), about 6 km from my home. Every 2-3 years, they hold the 3-day Solitude Revival, closing the the track to normal traffic for vintage races (gentleman races as nobody can pass the blue GT3 pace car). You'll see the original Mercedes/Bosch announcing tower; the original pits, while not in the photos, are there as well. Enjoy!
You'll also see an interesting 928 in there - I always knew front-engined Porsches were good for something!

PS - Sorry if you have to suffer through my other "non-Porsche" passion photos, but it's worth it!

That's great. So when should it be added that to the calendar. 2016 July?

Great stuff there and thanks for posting it up.
I think I have raced just about every kind of motorcycle except a side car hack.
Well that and ice racing and a true salt flats racer .
I did ride a street motorcycle with a side car a couple of times , but that was it. Racing one would be a whole 'nother thing .
Super cars and bikes there both . That had to be fun.
