Does anyone have a paint code for the louvers on the Carrera tail? Mine appears to be a glossy black and from others I have seen it is more a matte black.

Stock is a matte finish.

The Turbo Tail from the previous owner was matte. I just recently switched for a Carrera tail, which is also matte.

weighing keeping the tail and chin spoiler versus going without. although my car does not have the 473 option code I verified original owner had the dealer install them before he took delivery of the car.

I went with a satin black with mine, which is just a tad less shine than semi-gloss. I would not like a dull black.

I like the original look, I think the only tail I can live with is the duck tail now this is just my liking

Never been a fan of the ducktail,....not to my "liking"....although it does seem to look well on a Targa (which I've never been attracted to, either)...

Ed is right,..the stock look is "matte"....
