Unless its a 935 slope noses always look like kit cars to me, maybe I've seen too many bad ones, but Id go for headlights any day over a slope...

Well, what you have to cut is the quarters so you can weld the flare on. And then cut into that for the venting. Not terribly difficult, just take your time. Biggest hassle was the usual POS front fender fitting (mine were always sourced from Mexico via a guy I met whose brother-in-law had a steel stamping factory), and getting the headlight doors correct.
thanks for clarifying that!

ok I see the little lift points on the side of this one , http://assets.hemmings.com/uimage/13...70-0.jpg?rev=5

thanks!

I like the slants - and think my next project might be a 935 esq tribute.

Think it would be fun to do a tribute to the Apple K3

Everyone can dream. What's the underlying car?

And who color matches centers and polishes lips on a pearl car?

It would be pretty cool if you removed the fenders and put standard 930 front fenders, removed the boxed rocker and patched up the vent.

Thanks guys for the input. I decided it was too much show and no go. I'm still looking for my first air cooled, so onward with my search!
