yea, loose the trim on the rear fenders....
and get a set of black center caps (or paint those)

great interior - I bet it feels like a time warp getting in and going for a drive
how cool!

also, check the fender wells - they look mighty clean, make sure if someone dressed the car up (by removing the cosmoline) you understand what that means - looks real clean!

Rudy, those are Porsche Script seats. The sig seats have Ferry's sig as shown in Jaime's pic.

Oh! Got it
Ed, it's changing the engine oil and tranny oil similar to changing those things on a 993?
That's going to be my first thing to do when the car arrives, also what engine oil you recommend for both things ? I know, I know I don't want to start a oil thread here but just some advice

Rudy, This is a walk in the park compared to a 993! The short version:

1. Get engine warm, then raise car a little to access the drains and get a wide short, fully open top container under there- 12 qt capacity-same drill here on capacity.
2. Drain oil tank, which is exposed-no disassembly required!
3. Drain crank case, again no disassembly!
4. Remove old filter in RH side of engine bay-you'll see it when you open the lid, and replace.

Replace drains and Refill-you need to be cognizant of pouring too fast-but you don't have the super slow pour like in a 993 when you hit the 7th or 8th qt.

I used the Brad Penn 20W-50. You'll want a good oil for TX. Buy the Bentley Carrera Service Manual-it'll be a good friend for you.

Gorgous car. I like the bare metal center caps...first thing I noticed. This was standard on vintage 911s and works well on the later cars in my opinion. The fender trim is not like I've ever seen before from the factory and may look real bad up close as opposed to what we see here in the pics. I would be inclined to loose it if it's not factory and I'm not sure it is. The early (pre 74) 911s could be opted with fender "deco" which was a chrome strip over the fenders and matching rocker panels.
That is a pretty car for sure Rudy. Welcome to the (real) 911 forum.

Doyle; I'l be firing back at you soon my friend, been super busy.

On the oil drain, if you plan on keeping an air cooled Porsche, get an oil evacuator...drop it in the tank and suck it out...easy and clean as opposed to the huge rush of splashing oil.
I do that and then take the plug out, only a few drips after, then normally drain the sump (easy part).
