haha ok. please do tell one possible negative outcome of informing everyone what a nice machine like this sold for. NADA and bluebook values are way out of the ballpark (otherwise I would have ended up paying $26k for my 81 instead of 14k).

how else are we suppose to judge the current market values of our cars if we dont get our communities inputs? sorry if i was a little blunt in the way I asked it. If people are so insecure or sensitive about what they paid for something, they dont have to answer the question. But Ill be damned if Im not going to ask it.

sorry, back on topic. Anyother gripes can be sent through PM. beautiful machine.

I've asked guys I know about price....like.."what do you think one like yours might cost" etc but only in a PM.
It is a nice car.

Ya, Ed is correct, not a question that needs to be asked or answered. I paid $20,000 for mine six years ago.

Rudy, I just noticed this thread. I love the deviating carpet with the light interior. Is the dash and door trim navy blue?

I guess this is the way society goes now....along with filing bankruptcy when it's convenient, borrowing more than we can pay, caring about a Kardashian, and on and on. Seriously, not EVERYTHING needs to be on the Internet.

Two of my thoughts:

A-I look at what I think something is worth, after research, and hopefully the seller agrees. We then probably have a deal.

B-One could start a thread, "What did you pay for your 911?". People could post, if they'd like. An example of such:

Beautiful!
The colour, wheels, seats, everything fantastic.

(as an aside, I don't think it's necessarily "douchy" to ask on costs - from my perspective, I know I am at least a couple of years away from picking one up as I'm still budgeting car cost and repair/restoration costs - so learning the costs ahead of time helps, but when the time comes I WILL be asking - not in a douchy way though, promise!)

Back on topic, car is amazing, congrats, enjoy!
Any pics of the hind end with the new wheels?

Thanks for the compliments guys
As for the price asking , I agree with the guys that said a PM would have been a better way to ask.
@andy , yes this is the car I will be bringing to Kemal next month, I'm excited to see everyone there , now I have to step up my game since I know you are going to be there andy
@parman, yes the carpet , dash and steering wheel are blue

I like that color, always have been partial to a gunmetal tone. Now that you've dropped your front end 1" what is the height (if you don't mind checking) to the under lip of the wheel well front and rear?
Since I've lightened my car I'm not sure if it has raised up some but I suspect so and will reset the height when I figure what's practical ( dirt road and some washes to drive thru enroute to the Hacienda).

Opo. Looks great. Still looks classic with an aggressive stance.

Just picked up my 993 two weeks ago but now looking at your ride I want one of these too!

Congrats on the dope ride.
