Default Any Getty Design "SC" tail pictures?

Does anyone have a Getty Design SC tail such as the one shown in this link?

http://www.gettydesign.com/911_tailb...tml#sctailbase

I think it's the one I'd like to acquire and am wondering if anyone has experience with Getty Designs?

Thanks.

Dan

I had a Getty ducktail on Ruby. Getty has a good reputation for quality.

How was fit and finish? Did you have to modify the fiberglass at all to get it to line up properly on your car?

I'm guessing it comes primered?

It was exceptional-it didn't require much fitting. Black gelcoat is how it came, and the surface was very well done. Not all FRP products come this way, I was very impressed.

I have a MAShaw ducktail on my SC ( I believe that MAShaw and Getty source from the same manufacturer) it was quick and easy to instal with little or no fitting required. I do like ducktails on 911a and would like to find one similar to the Sport Classic for my 997

SCOTITUDE, is your wing the narrow SC version or the standard for widebody?

thanks for this post. I am planning to get this SC 3.8 decklid this winter, and build a 3" splitter for my front valance.

I have heard nothing but good about GD stuff and glad to see the pics and comment from SCOTITUDE. I want some downforce before I make a pilgrimage to VIR, Road America, and Road Atlanta. almost got a turbo tail, but from research it does not generate the downforce this 3.8 tail does.

SCOTITUDE: Thank you for posting the pictures of your car with the RS 3.8 wing. That's exactly what I was looking to see. And it's exactly what I want. Nice car. Thank you.

911Tracker85: I'm headed to Getty Design in mid-December to see the narrower "SC" wing before purchasing. I'll gladly share whatever I learn. If allowed, I'll take pictures of it too in preparation for fitting it to my '87 Carrera.

SCOTITUDE:

Your car needs a bigger tail. I know someone who'll purchase your existing one.

Thanks again for posting your pictures. It confirms exactly what I hope to acquire.

A friend had one of the first 3.8 tails Getty made and the fit and finish is excellent. The tail is off the car now and sitting with his collection of tails.
