Have you checked out the forums based on your side of the Atlantic
http://impactbumpers.com/
Have someone check for rust on the bodyshell, after 25-30 years of exposure to salt and moisture in Europe can take a toll on the galvanized steel.

Good luck with your quest

I think the 80's 911 are magic and the pricing seems to hold its own thru any economic crisis . In the US a 85 carrera with 30,000 miles is sitting at around $25k.
Check this one out and at the end of the day really the price is not out of line???

I know what you are saying but 20 years from now?. also I have owned a 993S and I got bored with the gearing. Now I have an 88 Clubsport with a 3.8 and still find myself looking at this car

Hello. I receive the pictures during the day.
I might say that the 3,2 is prbably the best to start what i want to do ultimately.
But what scares me the most is the lack of ABS... But I guess the brakes are still usable and easy.
I keep you updated today

I know these are NOT 3,2!!! But he does similar things with the 3,2.
sounds pretty good.

You don't need ABS with a 3.2 911,the braking power is more than you will need and it's a lot more fun to brake when YOU want not when a computer tells your car to stop
I drive on the track alongside cars with ABS,traction control, power steering, drivers with PMS,etc ... and i have more fun than them ... lol
Cheers !
