$25K for that
A dealer in my area was selling a decent 86 Slant Nose coversion-metal fenders.
Originally was asking $18K and sold it for $12K
Perfect low mileage Carrera for $22.5K

Nice SC Coupe

Having a PPI done tomorrow 83' 911 SC
Hey everyone,
I think I have found a much better representation of an unmolested 1983 911 SC found here:
http://californiaporsches.com/1983-s...ocolate-brown/
I'm having a PPI done tomorrow including leak down test on the car and have spoken with Rick the owner. No evidence of rust, no oil leaks, a full battery of detailed pictures. I was also wondering what resource to use to compare engine plate numbers with VIN numbers. I attempted a forum search and did not find a breakdown of #s.

Avoid the nightmare cars. Without good documentation you will forever be trying to figure out what that other guy did. At least with an unmolested car you can consult the factory workshop manual.
