New 911 in SoCal
Hey Guys,
Just swooped up this 81 Targa. It runs and drives great, but does need some TLC. I'll be replacing the entire interior followed by a lot of basic maintenance. It's definetely not a concourse car, but the price reflected that. I am pretty excited to get started, as this is my first Porsche.

An IE Meet would be fun. It would be nice to meet you guys. I have a bunch of newbie questions and need some Porsche buddies!
Worked on the car a bit today. I pulled most of the interior out, which was pretty gross. I'll be ordering an Appbiz carpet kit this week and probably their RS door panels. I will be deleteting the rear seats. Here are a couple pics and a garage shot with my Type R.
How bad is the install on the carpet kit? I know it's something I can do, but I get really bored with stuff like that after about an hour and start cutting corners
