Default Wheel help please

Does anyone have a picture of an 87-88ish targa regular body with 7" and 9" turbo Fuchs. I was looking at getting a set (black center) to replace my stock wheels. Any downside? The car is an 88 targa not lowered. Thanks Hugh

I have 6" in Front and 7" in Back and the set I'm looking at has 7" in front and I believe 9" in rear. I'll check my notes tomorrow.

7.5's and 9's, although in 17's-but you can see the dish.

Hey Ed -

Are the wheels on Ruby Linea Corse Fox wheels? I've been eyeing them on Pelican and they seem very tempting...

No, they are the Zuffenhaus wheels, which are forged and more accurately emulate the original Fuchs design. They are awesome wheels and at 15-16lbs each, very light.

7" front and 9" rear Fuchs (if you do go with Fuchs) is a natural choice IMO. Much better than 6" and 7" or "6 and 8".

Only downside is your wallet.

A quick look around (ebay) for the holy grail of Fuchs (factory turbo 7/9 x 16") will have you spending thousands, and then beholdent to finding 16" tires.

A better way to go (IMO) would be the Zuff's that are picture on Ed's car. Those are 17' forged.

My 89 came stock with 6 and 8's. The 6's just looked small. I found/bought a pair of 7's for the front, and then took them all to a Al Reed for a refinish.

Best of luck.
