Default 1989 911 dashboard clock

This is the last of the old style Carerra's (pre C4).
My dashboard clock suddenly stopped working. I hope it's not the clock (expensive) but just a fuse, but the manual is stupidly uninformative as to which fuse does what. However, I cannot find any other components that aren't working (uh oh!)

Help!

Thanks!

Do you have someone locally that would pop out their clock and hook it into your wires to see if it is the clock or something else?

John,

"Assuming" that all of the connections are intact, along with the voltages and grounds, here are the likely suspect:

Should the electrolytics not be the problem,...there are many out there who can repair the clock (not replace it).

Best!

see if you got 12v coming in . if you do its the clock end of .. you could replace the two dielectric caps as they dry out but make sure you get the poles right ..

I love the very accurate dash clock. It's cool looking and another example of German elegance and simplicity engineering.
I hope its just a simple fix. In my experience these clocks are pretty trouble free.
