Default Driving I95 to NJ?

I'll be going to NJ this summer as usual to visit family and friends and I've taken my WRX wagon up to now. I have a couple of question for the folks here.
1) Has anyone taken their Porsche on the auto-train? I've read where they are usually very careful, videotaping the car before it's loaded, put the owner's cover on it once loaded, etc. It saves approximately 900 miles of driving in each direction.
2) A just-in-case question...good, reliable, and trustworthy shops along the way? Names, locations, your recommendations?

Any help is appreciated...thanks
Serge

I live in NY near that area and I know a couple of shops up around there.
These guys come highly recommended by a lot of people I drive with.

A great local shop that is just south of Princeton is Provost Motorsports. 609.298.3555. The owners name is Rob Provost....only works on Porsches (and an occational BMW). Very active PCA member. Great service.

I see you're in Princeton also. My brother has been in Monroe Township for years, and recently, my nephew and his bride have moved there...I always look forward to the summer trip there. Dinner at the Americana Diner on Rt 130!

Yeah we love Americana....omlets that are the size of my head. We moved here from Boca about 15 years ago. Lots of fun places to drive around here versus SFL. Really great PCA chapter here too...Schattenbaum...very friendly group.
