Default Anyone with a window sticker (1977 or so?) that looks like this?

Just as the subject implies, Im looking for a window sticker that looks like this 1977 version:

Im attempting to re-create one for a buddy. If someone had one they could scan for me, that would be superific. I dont need the VIN info in case you are concerned about privacy. For your trouble, Ill send you a perfect digitized repro of your original.

Doesnt have to be a 1977, just this sticker style.

You can PM me or email me at chris@udpride.com. Thanks in advance.

Truthfully, I don't understand the value of a reproduced window sticker. Having an original is kind of cool, and may help round out a good set of documentation. What an imitation does is beyond me, and somehow, I think there are people that will attempt to represent suck as an original.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Ed. Here are a few I have reproduced.

The request remains, if anyone has a 1977ish using the format in the original post that could provide me a scan, I will digitize for you in hi-res PDF format for your trouble.

Thanks again.

Wow Chris - those look amazing! I agree that you are on to something. I would defintiley pay for a framed repro for each of my 911s....

I don't have a window sticker from that timeframe, so can't help there... I did do a google search, and came up with this thread on Pelican: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...questions.html.... Hope it helps..

Additionally, searching under Google images shows a bunch as well...

Best of luck!

It appears there is a legitimate business targeted at Oldsmobile, Chevrolet and Pontiac cars from 1959 through today: http://www.window-sticker.com/ For instance, they charge $35 for a repro sticker of a '59 Chevy Corvette.

Reading through the FAQs section seems to show that owners want these "repros" to display at car shows for additional points... Interesting business.

More Google searches yielded this: http://www.stuttgartstudios.com/2011/08/01/hello-world/

So I see that Chris has a business already in place! Very cool.

Chris-

I definitely see a business opportunity for you here. People kill for this stuff. The reality of it is that if you are lucky enough to have the original sticker that is great. But sometimes you just didn't get it and for most of us that just plain sucks. So if you could have a repro that is better than nothing.

Porsche gets over $100 for a CofA I would venture to say people would pay that for a sticker if the quality were good.
