Default H4 headlight wiring question

all,

i'll be painting the trim rings on the new H4's i'm putting on my 82 911sc next week. i've done the H4 conversion years ago on an 83sc and have a question.
the main H4 headlight bulb plugs into the exsisting 3 prong female harness socket. the H4 has a second small driving light bulb(or parking light bulb)below the main headlight bulb but there is no exsisting wire connector for it.
**is there someway to splice into the harness or bring a lead to this bulb so it is operational??
i've never messed with this before and would appreciate some detailed intructions or ne directed to a link that shows how to do this.

thanks in advance.

Yes. It is very easy. Look for the space connector that brings power in from the parking side marker light. I'll look for a link to a pic that I posted on Pelican.

What he did.

It essentially restores the European look when you select single side markers when you need to protect a side in narrow, busy areas. I did the same thing with my SC years ago.

Suggestion: Make sure you have the rubber grommet/tube in the bottom of the headlight buckets--but supplement them with a short length of soda straw, to keep them mostly open. Small pieces of grit can build up inside those things and then the liquid stuff can't get out.

You might want to add a relay also. Cheap, quick and easy!

Absolutely, especially with the higher wattage halogen bulbs.
