Default Engine body work protector

Where do you buy those body work (fenders and bumper) protectors for when working in the engine bay? Magnetic with cloth surrounding? Thanks.

Tim, Pelican has them for 1965-89 911's. The part no. is PEL-COLSC002.

Good luck.

Try Pelican. I suggest finding one with the A/C compressor "pad". Performance Products may have something as well. You will wonder how anyone can work on one of these cars without it after you get used to having one.

Tim ... sorry to digress. SIncere request. Change your avatar to the earlier one.. ... That was way nicer than this one. May be it's the shadow of the photographer and the top up on your 911 .

I don't like it either but it is an update since it is no longer in Florida. Will change when I get a good day to take out. Thanks.

maybe I find whats available laying round the house that works or just cheap, but a few mattress pad covers work well on all three sides. I just double them up and tuck them in so they hang over the rear side panels and cover from engine bay over the bumper. just a thought for ya. nice pic by the way even with the shadow!

Get the Colgan service cover from Pelican. It's worth it in my opinion.

Do they make them for rims? Dropped a socket on the rim, ouch......there goes a perfectly repolished rim, damn it!!! How hard is it to polish out a small scratch on a Fuch?
