Blocking off EGR valve

I have a **1981** 911 3.0sc with an EGR (exhaust gas recirculation kit) valve that needs replacing but can't source a replacement anywhere, however I do know you can "delete" to the EGR by blocking it off, but yet again I can't seem to get a delete kit anywhere. Anyone know where I can get either a new EGR or delete kit?
Or
Anyone successfully do a DIY job on blocking off the EGR, can you give me detailed details of how you did it, or even photos of your new EGR set up if you have them just hanging around on your desktop, as you do....

Weren't we diagnosing this last week? I think we figured it had a later engine in it? (Anyway, a US '77 2.7L in original form most definitely had EGR + thermal reactors + air pump.)
Unless you need to smog it, and someone is actually pulling vacuum from the valve to see if it stalls/upsets the idle you can simply block it off. More than one exhaust backdate cars I did way back when retained the EGR valve, but merely had a blocking plate installed between the valve itself and the manifold pipe that went into the exhaust crossover pipe. It's just a plate you fabricate yourself in the right dimension with a couple of holes to pass the 6mm bolts that hold the whole thing together through.

An EGR engine now only requires a flow path between the exhaust and the intake manifold but a method of opening/closing that path with engine load. My '78 has no such path. It does have an air pump so as to put oxygen in the exhaust manifold in order to complete the burn of any fuel left over, but not an EGR.
Thermal reactor = catalytic converter, yes, my '78 has (had!) one of those.

Sorry, a little confusion last week in that I found my car that was listed on the registration documents as a 1977 carrera 3.0, but checked out chassis numbers and found it is a 2.7 but with a 1981 3.0sc engine implanted!! Pic attached of item - EGR or PCV you tell me!?! - a week of research later and I'm going around in circles...........

I have a 1978 928 with an EGR Valve that the PO has removed the vacuum lines from and I want to re-connect them but don't know and can't see where they are routed to from the EGR itself, there are two connection points on the EGR in this car.
Please lead me to an illustration or diagram of the routing.
TIA, as always...
