Oiy vey, Loren!
The injectors need 12+ to function, not the dme. We all know this to be true.
Doug, the sensors (ref and speed) can be removed, adjusted, and replaced very easily with the engine in situ. You only have to remove the left rear shock absorber. I have a pic of this is another thread. On phone now, will check im later.

You have forced my hand on this one. Now I have to fix it.

The sensors would not come out of the fixture for nothin'. The cables were all crusty and falling apart.
As usual I forgot the PB Blaster. I gave up on the sensors and went to take the fixture out with the sensors still in it. First bolt broke off with the first twist of the ratchet. I figured with all that oil under there I was good. Nope.
CAR IS FOR SALE. First guy here with $15,000 takes her home. Today, you can even have my tools.

That was my thought too! Haha!
Doug, I can't find fault in taking off the bracket -I would have done the same. The car will lose, you will win, just have a beer and take a look later. One step at a time. Deal with the bolt later with a small vise grips or something. Whalebird set me onto the cheaper sensors at Paragon auto parts. Roughly 50% savings.

If we need to, engine drop party at Doug's. I'll bring my dogs and tools. If a right angle reversable elec screwdriver will work with a bolt extractor, then I'll send it out Monday.

First order of business is a trip to Home Depot for some plywood and 2x4's. I'm sick and tired of working on the floor I've got. The way I made shed it is nearly impossible to get a jack under the back end. Every time I need to go under the car the car has to come out of the shed. Poor shed design and placement on my part. My problem to fix. This looks like a great opportunity to fix it once and for all.
