It's hard to go wrong with a Benz. I'm looking for a wife-mobile right now and keep coming back to the 'Star'. I've tried to keep an open mind and looked at everything out there including the Audis, but can't cozy up to them because of the horror stories I keep hearing. We keep saying to each other that maybe we should have kept our 05 C230; 34mpg is looking really nice these days.
Good choice you made there, pretty car.

Nice! Bummer about the Audi, I hear that too much.
I'll dust you both w/ my E550, with the C300 engine hooked up to your powertrain and in your E350s trunk! lol

Nice car OP, I'm a big Benz fan and currently have a 10' E550 4matic and 11' GL450 4matic.
My sister has the C300 4matic and it's a great car, it's a Benz thru and thru!

Man i was really wanting that new E series, but couldn't justify the depreciation that would happen when I rack the miles up.

I'd pick a E550 over a C63 that's for sure.

Have you guys noticed the C300 is kind of hard riding? MB always gives me those C300 loaners when my E55 goes in for service and almost every one I've had seems kind of bumpy. It is a nice car and keep thinking about buying one for my mom as she's bashed around my 03 325i quite a bit.

Sarge - I'll run you with my 211 E55.

I notice it when you select sport suspension. Once you deselect that I'm pretty comfortable. I do like a tighter ride (more euro than Cadillac)....
