Targa got a buddy today.
Got rid of the 09 Audi A4 with 95K miles, (after sinking $4,300) for a new head.....
2010 c300 21,000miles on the odo. Warrantee till 135K miles or 2017. If I sell the car before 100,000 miles I can get the additional 35K miles warrantee cancelled for full refund. (Which is nice since I drive about 40K as year.)
Pretty darn comfortable and the kids like it better than the A3 I was driving for a month.....

Nice Benz. Congrats. I get a C class when my Gwagen is in the shop and really like them. I have owned every German brand but an Audi. Probably will try one someday, but no denying Ed's comment above.

And Ed yeah I bet Palomar would be fun! Little muted, but fun!

Deb's car is pretty fun to drive, I'm sure you'll love yours. Tons of room too, even I can fit in back. We ended up at Fletcher Jones on ours-SD dealers were more $$. Ours was a CPO with 35K and sold by them to the original owner-they even did new brakes and tires as part of their CPO program. For less than $30K, we'd be hard pressed to find a better new car.

Nice looking car. I have been considering a CPO C300 for a DD for almost a year. I have a friend that owns a E350 and it's a sweet car. Please keep us informed on how it holds up.
Ed, that's an outstanding price for a E350...I think my friend paid ~$40K for his CPO. His is a Matic = awd. you might not need that function in SoCal. :-)

I had your E class in mind when I looked at the cars but to keep it under 25K on the odo and low 30's on price, the E-class was just out of range.
The beauty was that the CPO'd car has 85K more miles of warranty than new! They tried to sell me a new one since they have a deal where if you trade in a Lexus, BMW, Audi, or Porsche you get 2000K off the car. (I did ask since I own a P-car and an Audi, do I get $4K?....Nope
I'll keep you guys posted on what happens to this car....

FYI, 48,900 miles on the car. (27,900 miles in 8 months!) Still a champ, and completely enjoy the car.
It's actually transferring ownership to the wife, the company I work for has decided to switch from a stipend to giving us vehicles. I'm about (hopefully) to get a new Tundra 4X4 and we'll sell the wifey's Pathfinder and she will now drive the MB. I would, with out a doubt, buy another MB once this one goes out of warrantee (y?).

That's a lot of forlorn miles! I used to put 40K+ on a year on my company car in AZ back in the 80's.
Deb's MB has been great too. It is a great car for road trips. It also hauls a 90lb chocolate lab pretty well too, and the interior seems to be very resistant to all of the slobber and drool.

Oh and I'll be updating the Targa thread this weekend. I've been moving on it a lot recently.
