Question on muffler trim for 911s
#16
Ok everybody, on hindsight having seen the skirt in place I am not 100% sure I like it. I mean, it's a nice way to cover the muffler up but it might end up being a bit of overkill.
I will think about it for a while and in the meantime I'll get the car nice and shiny. If I then decide to go for it I know where to find it but it does not look like a "must have it" anymore.
Thank you very much everybody for your very valuable input.

Thats the one Rus. Some of the extra crap they opted was clearly an afterthought. My 73S was heavily opted with all the deco trim, full leather sport seats, AC(factory), goofy becker radio that would record a conversation, fog lights ...the list goes on. Then the guy who ordered it from the factory(paint to sample) paid extra for an alloy deck lid. I guess Porsche is happy to take American dollars.

Had. Sold to fellow lister ~05. I will dig up some pics. I know I have a few "before" pics(barn find w/87K) I'll find the "after" pics. I drove it semi-daily for a couple of years, a few DEs, and new owner drove it from chas SC to new york...ALL original motor.
