Damn that is a beautiful car. Congrats.

I am told it is called dunkelblau which means simply "dark blue." It has always been my favorite color in any car.

Pulled the trigger. Thus the avatar. Brought a cashier's check to PO and picked up the title. Now I just have to pay NYS sales tax, get it insured, spend a couple of hours at the DMV getting it registerd, take a train back to Connecticut to pick it up, get it inspected...

BTW, I never thought I would be an emoticon guy. But I also thought I would never own a Porsche!

Congrats! Beautiful and rare color. I think there is a semi-twin of your car for sale in the SF area: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/ctd/2417676033.html

A single malt scotch, a fine Cuban cigar, and a Classic air-cooled 911!! I can hardily recommend the first two as you await your highly anticipated adventure to begin with your new purchase. Even if you don't drink scotch or smoke cigars, this is one instance where one out of three ain't bad! Congratulations!!

I don't drink but I think a Padron 1964 Anniversary may be on tonight's agenda!

As per Doug, welcome to the blue '88 club.
Your interior looks to be the same light grey as mine.
Enjoy :-)
