Just picked up my car today after a week long TLC. Big ticket items were an oil line crack replaced and leak at intake manifold on two cylinders. Both fixed and the master mechanic and ED had warned me ahead of time that I will feel the difference now that problem # 2 has been fixed. OMG ..... the power delivery is so much stronger, smoother, throttle repsonse that much more accurate. I have always loved the way my car drove but now this machine is perfect in every respect. Say what you want guys.... IMO, there cannot be very many cars built by Porsche that are better than a 3.2. Ed, I will soon hook up with you and let you experience the night and day difference.

Great story!

Woot -enjoy!

Ed- I didn't realize you were near Seattle. I flew to Seattle last Wednesday and bought an 87 Porsche 928 S4. Then drove it home, 2200 miles to Dallas. Great road trip.

I'm not, except when I fly there a few times a year for business. I live in San Diego, when I'm not travelling. I replied to your PM on the car last night...

W00t,
Glad everything's OK with your 3.2 and it got a clean bill of health.

I think something is wrong with your 997.2. There's a pedal missing.

Oh I know... I was just having a little fun.

I'm sure the PDK can shift faster than most people ever could. I've yet to get a ride in a PDK equipped Porsche. I know someone who just got a PDK Cayman - I'll have to ask for a ride.
