Funny how that is Ken. I rode with Hurley around Summit Point in our teams car, same day/car, rode with Jeff Purner. Jeff made me want to puke he was so fast, Hurley felt like a bus ride across town. Hurley's lap times were faster.
Riders see it differently, and respect should be given to them when we are driving.
As for the Pennsylvania winters; feeling it in your 'seat" is learned, not taught. I rode motorcross growing up and I am sure that helped me balance throttle/brake all the while crossed up.
That being said; I am not fast at all. I try to be smooth, but I've got a lot to learn.

Ha, Deb wants nothing to do with any track. She's done some "charity laps" at lunch time with me, maybe 6/10 for a few spurts, but that's it for her adrenaline needs.

0-60mph - 5.3s
1/4 mile - 13.9s @ 100mph
Vmax - 149mph
Still pretty good numbers today I'd say!
Cheers
