Default Fuchs 8s & 9s w/ tires FS

I am selling an excellent set of 8s (951.362.117.00 et23) and 9s (911.361.119.00 et15) x 16 forged Fuchs wheels with new, never used Toyo Proxes R888 mounted.

These are great track or street wheels. Forged. Lightweight. Straight.

Anybody with a '78-'89 911 that needs/wants a set of rains for track days?

The tires alone would cost over $850 if you bought them at a dealer.

I've been asking $2400 + shipping. Any offers?

Any chance you would sell just the 9x16s? I really don't want the tires or the 8s. Thanks.

Think I'll try to keep the wheels together as a set. But thanks for asking.

I am looking for 2- 8x16s if you want to sell the 9's to Rusnak...however, I do not need the tires either.

Bids for the set welcome. I need to get these out of the garage. I have some pictures if that would be helpful. Thanks.

if you need to get them out of your garage i would respectfully suggest that your pricepoint reflect that , you may get a few more bites.

Thanks. I asked for any offers in the first post. Are you saying I should do more? Sorry to be obtuse. And appreciate your advice.

ps. These are the strongest, lightest, best looking (IMO) wheel you can have on a '78-'89 911. The 8/9 combination is optimal for track use (again IMO).

there is no doubt those are extremely desirable wheels .. wouldn't necesarily use them as track wheels unless they are rough.. guess the post an offer is good .. GLWS

I disagree on running 8"s with 9"s. Those are a bit wide to use on the front because they don't work well with 205s. Most guys run either 8s or 9s on the back, which is why you got two separate inquiries. If I were you, I'd be willing to break up the "set" as it were, even though this is not an ideal set imo.

And as Ice suggested, I would buy the 4 wheels, and turn around and sell the 8s, but you want something close to full retail for the tires too, which does not work - sorry. Hope you find your buyer.

No experience with 205s. 8s & 9s are considered optimal with most everybody I know.

The Toyo rains on the Fuchs now are 225/245. No push. No oversteer.

Anyway, if it would help get them sold I'll re-price the entire package at $2000. Plus shipping. Want to move them.
