Lots of threads on fitment of these wheels on narrow body 911's so just wanna get info from guys who have done this. Any info would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

They fit comfortably on my SC race car.
The most likely buyer of these wheels will use them on a track car I think. I'd see no reason to buy these to run skinny tires (eg 205/225) on them.
If it helps anyone, I'm willing to take off the Toyos and sell them separately.
$1500 for the wheels. $500 for the tires. Any takers?
Thanks.

I would not put my tires on these wheels, rather purchase the whole set. i was just wondering about the fit. These are nice for the track but mine would be a street car so curious why such different opinions on the topic.

Just wondering...some guys running 8's/ 9's on the back and 7's/8's on front. Just looking for info on street use as to which one is more desirable and why.
Other than more rubber on the road is it just personal preference?

Wheels sold. Thanks for all the interest.
Toyo R888s still available. 225/45&245/45x16 competition rain tires. $450. They have NEVER been used. Would cost $850 from a dealer.

That being said, they "don't" fit, but they CAN fit. The differing opinions partially come from the fact that they require some fender lip rolling, negative camber and a few other tricks to make them fit without rubbing. People are willing to do this because they look great and put a little more rubber on the road.
8's or 9's with 245/45 in the back is a bolt on. 7's with a 205, usually a bolt on in the front.
7's or 8's with a 225 in the front-be prepared to roll or trim the fender lips and max the negative camber.
