The article said "NADAGuides.com well-maintained versions of the model have a street value of $33,200". Is that price too low for a normal 911S?

^NADA is not the best guide for collector car values, I refer to the Old Cars Price Guide.

The article also said it was green like the Bullitt mustang......

I'd buy it at $33k!

Heck, I would even buy it at twice the $33K. Butt, as noted above, it will be a huge price.

I spoke to the owner of this car last summer, he lives in NJ but has a place up near limerock as well. Car is orginal and looks fantastic. My guess he would want 1 million as he has it insured for that value. Frank is his name, nice guy.

Frank bought it from a fellow in Los Angeles that got it some 20yrs back when the studio couldn't get
10k for it from what I've heard.
Funny enough ,I employed the same trucker from LA to DC a few years back and in the same enclosed
trailer as my '72 RS clone was Mr. Gallogly's prize ...McQueen's '71S out in front of my very house!
And I don't know where RM auctions gets that green hue BS,the car is Slate Grey just check out the
movie...Bert

Who cares what it's insured for. I see no reason for stupid money to be asked or paid.

Collecting for the sake of accumulating cars is a little crass in my eyes...but this car is pretty cool with some seriously famous screen time. 'Course it means it won't be driven...
