Default Wanted: Porsche 930 Coupé

I am currently looking for a Porsche 930 Coupé.

- It will be used as a project car so, rusted and damaged 930s are accepted (no totaled cars).
- If car has engine and transmission available, it's a plus (rolling or not).
- No convertibles, no Targas and no Turbos. Only Coupés

A short description of the car, location, price and pictures would be greatly appreciated. The more details, the better.

PM me or e-mail me at nick_serbanescu@hotmail.com

Regards,

Nick

Nick,

You state that you want a 930, but then follow up with "- No convertibles, no Targas and no Turbos. Only Coupés".

A 930 is a turbo, so not sure if you meant to put something else.

That confuses me. Can we say no normally-aspirated coupes?

Just got mine last month. Not that bad so far. I only have about 30 things on my list that I want to do (25 of them don't really need to be done).

Congrats TX. 930s are fun cars. If you have any pictures, toss them on the board here, we love pictures.

^^^no...not true. I was being a little sarcastic. 930s are great cars that can require big commitments from their owners, but return huge dividends. After the first ten miles in a 930, most people are hooked on the boost "elixer". I know these cars pretty good and nothing will give you the feeling these cars can. They are one car that gives you the feeling that nothing can touch you on the open road. Pressing the gas pedal is ALWAYS a surprise. I could go on all day about how these cars make your legs wobble when you get out of them.

All turbo cars make their owner hooked after the first 10miles the 930 is not exclusive in this sensation. I have owned my 930 for 6-years and cost of maintenance has been ridiculously or surprisingly low, everyday wear items and maintenance parts are the same as my Datsun Z. My uncle has owned his 930 since brand new in 1982 and he would agree as well (he has well over 100,000miles on his).
