H4 headlight wattage questions

Last night I spent something like 35 minutes on a bike and about the same amount of time doing upper body pull down press work. It's gonna be a slow go, but have an idea of what to do and how to accomplish it.

Already have the duel relay system in place with healthy 30 A contacts onboard..time for some wattage and cool running current flow to 'em. Lenses are gonna have to stay!
Good luck with the program!
Best,
Doyle

I hate cardio work, but I force myself to walk as much as I can. I'm doing strength training and total diet control. There is a great book out there called Body for Life, based on good science. I've easily lost 5 lbs of fat in the past month or so.

The only workouts I get are working on the cars, driving them hard (running at 8/10+ does work you out), carrying briefcase/suitcase.
A bit of walking and bike-riding too. But, I've stayed at 205-210 from a high of 230 2 years ago mostly by watching what I eat. But, I did have a killer donut this am!

Finally got a few minutes to work on the lights last night.
The relay looks super simple to do.
I had visions of cutting wires, pulling out old wires, and running a rats nest of new wires everywhere.
None of that is the case.
It couldn't be further from that..... don't even get to cut a single wire.
Look Mom... Pigtails

Nice! I just disconnected the OEM wiring from fuse panel to headlights and left them in place, then ran new heavier-gauge wires from the fuses out to the lights. The whole job took a Saturday morning.

I finished the splicing in of the sockets with shrink tube and zips.
The instructions say feed all four wires (including the quick connects) behind the fuse panel. My old hands were having none of that and I ended up using a fish to pull them through from the top. Then I opted for my heavy duty crimps.
Then was the dilemma about using the mounting screw on the bottom of the panel to mount the relays. As shown in Dave's install there is already a component mounted there that is not there on the car used in the instructions. I used a longer screw and a plastic spacer that was thicker than the original component to stack the two together. Seems to be a perfect solution.
EDIT: the 4th picture is upside down and the 3rd and 4th are out of order...
....Now can you say a ton of light...
All and all I'm stoked with the relay and for $25.00 there is no going wrong with it.
