If you are thinking about buying and restoring an older 911 with some miles and rust, are you mentally and financially prepared to start from here?

Thats an easy starting point. Nowhere to go but up. The truly dauntless are the guys that pull them out of the hudson river and then Ebay them for 35K.

agree with Whalebird.
Looks like a racecar build....that's a lot of fun.

for me, half the fun of racing is also building the car. eventually, i might get into restorations. i love that stuff

Depends on what price, and if I had the time/room.

Then again, I'd probably just send it to Rauh Welt-San and have him build me a "dreamcar".

My '73s in about that stage, save for the quarters still attached. Friend is having an unwanted '86 930 shell built into a PRC GTL class racer. Presently looks similar from what I've been told.
