Default Which oil line is this?

Which oil line is this? This right behind the right rear tire. I am correcting some of the minor leaks I have soon. I also have two of the oil cam lines leaking a bit and I was able to identify the correct parts on Pelican.

This one in the pic I am not so sure about.

The cam oil lines from pelican will be fine. The larger rubber oil lines may be removed and sent to a hydraulic line company. Amazon hose firstly comes to mind as they have done a good job. And the orientation is important, so if they may be loose, a mark would ensure they recreate them in the proper orientaion.

And make sure you do all of them, especially if they are weaping already.

Regards,

A shop that repairs heavy construction equipment might also be able to fix the oil hose.

yumyum, if your car doesn't have the cam fitting upgrade, you may want to do it too. Search for this thread on this forum:
911 camshaft oiling update - anyone done this ?

I also have the same oil return line leak. I am not sure what I need repaired. Do i need to send both lines to get repaired?

Thanks for the tip on the hose shop. I just found a hose shop that can handle this locally.

Tango thanks for the tip on the oil line update. I was not aware of the upgrade.

Pretty sure your 88 Carrera has Carrera tensioners...that oil line you photographed is an oil return line
from the oil sump bottom to the tank.

does the car have ssi exchangers . Something rings a bell that this oil line might be different from stock if you have SSIs so if replacing replacing it so be carefull there. The real soulution though i think would be to have it repaired.

There is much discusion in other threads and sites regarding that "upgrade" i suggest doing a search and reading up on it, then make your descision

The photo OP shows stock heat exchange,no necessity for under bell housing
oil line.
Line in photo also is all metal to crankcase..

budge96 is correct. The oil line in question is all metal to the crankcase.
