Default Racing seats compared to nstock nseats.

Anyone out there able to tell me the pros and cons of "racing seats" compared to the standard stock seats in a 76 911S. I'm thinking about going with the racing seats and I'm wondering if there is any drawbacks or downside to them......???

A lot depends on how big you are,....

Standard seats:

Easy in & out
Little or no lateral support
Easy access to rear seat area

Racing seats:

Not as easy ingress & egress
Excellent lateral support
Limited access to rear seat area

A good race seat can be customized a fair bit to fit with lumbar support pads and adding memory foam in places.

It just comes down to how you use the car,....

Racing seats make it so you never have to drive your co-workers for lunch more than once

they only "thought" they wanted to ride in your car.... the cussing that comes out

Actually, my wife is OK with the seats. It's the 5 point harnesses she hates.

bye the time i got to seat changes, the suspension was too stiff, the exhaust was to noisy, the car was too low, the back seats were removed, brakes squeaked too much, and of coarse the air conditioner was removed (didn't work well anyway), So my wife never tried out my one piece seats with harnesses... on the other hand, my grandson loves to go for rides! So enjoy!

Thanks guys.....I don't use it for racing so maybe sticking to the standard seats would be a better bet.....Thanks again.
