I just replaced my stock calipers (1986) but had already purchased a rebuild kit from AutoMotion.
Dealership said my old ones were almost certainly rebuildable, but they don't/won't do that.
So, I have the original, 41k mile calipers, unopened rebuild kit for both. If anyone wants them, just PM. (If I've broken massive rules, let me know that too.) Soon as I figure out posting a classified, will go there too. Thanks.

Anyway, a quick check looks like $580 pair new.
Or $159/pair needing rebuild, plus
A $54 rebuild kit.
Sor $200ish for what I've got.
How bout $90 for all to the first Rennlister?
OR, trade for your porsche spare tire pump...
OR trade for your original stock decklid...
OR trade for actual cash money!

I hope you aren't relying on a Porsche dealer for your repairs? There are always exceptions, but pretty generally, they don't know much about our cars these days. Most could probably service a Saab better than an air-cooled 911.

I was reading one of those glossy Porsche adds the pther day ( may have been excellence ) where Porsche was claiming to have experts in air cooled cars so bring your car to a Porsche certified centre .. The local Porsche dealer in town here farms them out to an independant .... too funny ..
