Just bought a 1987 911 Coupe

Welcome Pguy.
One of the biggest problems owning one of these is keeping the speeds down. I've had a few fast cars ( Vette's, Impala SS etc ) but none as "happy" at 80mph and up as the 911.
It's a revelation when you drive back from a couple of hard track days and realize the car is running better like it's been to a spa.

Actually I bought it from a gal living in Sacramento, CA.

I think that car used to belong to a guy on the 993 board, if it is the car, then you got yourself a GREAT car. He took care of it and the car was MINT. He only sold it to buy a 993.
Where did you buy the car from, because he sold it to a car dealer

Ain't it the truth! Just got back from the PCA D/E at Thunderhill, and my 911 is running better than ever. Passed the 130,000 mile mark at 100mph on I505 on the way back. Great cars they are. (for those of you in the California Law Enforecement community - I'm really just lying to impress people. I only did 70.0 mph just like the signs said.)
