Laddies, been away for awhile, like anyone cares. But, I do have some items for sale. The downside is shipping I prefer not to............it ain't cheap and its a pain, so I am hoping someone in SoCal is interested where they can pop over. Items are factory, no after market. All items are for '84 thru '89 911. Thinning out my parts and car.

Carrera wing and lid, very small scratch in paint. Rubber is in wonderful condition. $850.00 or best

Front bumper and smile. $250

Fuchs 6" and 7". They have been chomed on the outer wheel and the spokes retain the black finish. I bought them this way. Chrome is so so.
$800.00

'84 911 Coupe with 76K miles. No drips, no smoke and the air does not work. $15K. Concerning the car. Please don't try and beat me down to much as I have a bundle into it. One more thing. No more mechanics tearing into my car for an inspection. The one found nothing wrong other than the air, the ex-buyer would not give me a copy of the report. Mechcanic found nothing wrong and the ex-buyer backed out because of his wife. If you need to ask your wife, please do not call me. You have bigger problems.

1984...let's see, I don't have my "Porsche 911 Red Book" in front of me, but I'm guessing that's Kiln Red.

If I lived in San Diego, I'd be checking that car out! GLWS

Howdy y'all. Its Ruby Red. Whalebird, the secret to helping to keep em' as trim as possible is to continue to put their underpants in the dryer after washing. This way the underpants keep shrinking and they think they are gaining weight. Hopefully they then watch what is eaten. Now, all of this is moot if the person doing the drying has a Dunlop front and rear themselves.
Darn near impossible to point a finger when that may backfire.

The only reason I have my 911 on the market is I may have a chance to buy back my Tiger. I know, Tigers are like pushing a brick around a corner with a stick. Some how I still like em'.
I have always had a soft spot for the Ford V-8 rumble.
I don't quite understand why the mid 80's 911's don't bring more money. They clearly are a superior car, even by today's standards.

cal 44 I think that's a turbo tail your selling right ? not a Carrera tail . Looks like a really nice car .. you should have told the guy who backed out because his wife said he couldn't by the car .. could he at least have asked for his ***** back off the shelf where she is keeping them ? ..

can't blame the guy about the PPI . it is his to keep if he payed for it .. unless you guys split the cost or something. Unfortunately to sell the car guys will want ot keep having mechanics check it out .. to be fair that is what we keep telling guys who come here looking to buy .

Good luck and give us a few more pics. It can never hurt

I can't see anyone buying a 911 they can't have a mechanic check. Good luck!

I think a good solution would be to agree to the price, agree to buy/sell subject to a PPI. But a PPI done prematurely is absolutely a waste of everyone's time. When I bought mine I put down a refundable deposit. However the car was in great shape, and it was so far from a good Porsche mechanic (near Arcata) that I dediced to take a few hours crawling under and in the car myself.

You are right, it does look like a Turbo tail but it is a Carrera tail. The shadows from the lights are puttin the screws to the lens.

Thanks Russ. Now the search for that Tiger is on. I'm a picky bastard so this will take some time. Many of the Tiger folk think their cars are worth way more than reality dictates.
And no, I won't ask for a PPI. If it doesn't smoke or make odd noises and shifts, I'm good.

My old Tiger is in Fresno, I'm trying to get it back to San Diego.

I vaguely remember that now. That was some time ago. Let me know if I should insult the guy with a ridiculously lowball offer.
