Sweet. How's it run? Are you finding it drivable in traffic? Black thru-grill lights are a 73-only thing, all earlier cars had chrome. But my 73 had chrome thru-grill grills, go figure. These kind of little things will drive you nuts on early cars - thats the appeal.
real beauty, now all you need is a 2.8 RSR motor and suspension!!! Kidding.
Have fun Alberto.

w00t, I think you want an early car. You haven't come out and said it, but you've done too much studying to deny the curiosity. I wish you could drive one of these early cars(a good one) and share your reflections in context to the 86 Carrera and 07 whatchamacallit. There's a difference.

It seems CPR does some really nice work. That is a stunning car, I imagine it provides an experience that no amount of dollars car get you even close to with one of today's cars of any make.

I second w00t's call for interior pics when you have the chance!

I visited CPR and met Brian last week. It is truly an amazing group that Brian has assembled. Very high qualility of work being done! They has a '73 RS "Tribute" car they were doing in Viper green that was to die for!!! I was extremely impressed. Prices seemed high, but probably in line with what it really costs to restore an early 911 properly. Honestly, some of the engines that were ready to be installed looked brand new!!! I would not hesitate buying from Brian and CPR if I could afford the freight! I guess I need to keep buying lottery tickets...

Son of gun...now I'm concvinced that you are even a mind-reader. How right you are. You might as well know who the sole culprit for that "itch" is.....YOU, YOU and ONLY YOU with all those countless posts with praises on those "earlier cars" and Oh! that whatchamacallit is a 997.2 with PDK. I wish you could drive mine and tell me whatchafeelin.

Knowing what I have in my car in my "resto-mod" with my crude "skills", I think CPR is dead on for proper restorations.
