Default Time to sell...

Decent car with three broken headstuds on exhaust side...what would be a quick sell price?

Park it for a year or two, let the economy blow over and get your mind off your troubles.

seriously.

Douglas Brey is right. Let things blow over. You will regret it. Or take out a zero interest for a year Cc and get the work done.

If you can hold on to it and fix it you will probably be money ahead. If you do decide to follow through with selling it, I may be interested.

Under seven in FL would be my guess. I would set a price and put it out there. You could try eight, I just don't know. Have a fair price in mind and a rationale for that price, and put it out there like you know it is worth it.

Otherwise it is going to be a Dutch sale. Put the price at what you think the car would be worth if fixed, knock off the cost of the repair, and add incentive.

an SC with three broken head studs today is worth very little. Hell an SC in great running condition is worth very little. You need to either fix it r be prepared for the scumbag low ball offers of Kijiji.

It depends on the condition of the rest of the car. Is the rest of the car pristine?

As some of you know me...I do not want to sell this car. I have to. Plain and simple. It is not the only thing I am currently selling, if you catch my drift.

Hard times my friends...many of us are not so secure anymore.

Well, you are not alone. I'm not in that spot at this minute, but was for close to a year, and you never know what tomorrow will bring.

Stay strong my friend.

Thanks for the reply. I'll see him in the morning and have already told him about the car. I'm sure you will hear from him soon.
