Default A little Friday Night O.T

Well it is Friday night here , it is pourig rain , and I am killing time on my PC . So thought i would share some stuff that has been going on, nothing special .

First Pic is of my "Ed Oil haul" after cleaning out both Stores in Chardon and the neighbouring town in Ohio ..... what did Mrs ice have to say .. took me 10 minutes to get ready for the wedding , took her an hour and a half .. lots of time for my oil run in a 3 piece suit .. did better than the last wedding we went to when i decided to change the oil on the car while I was waiting for her .. for real .. ended up getting oil on my shirt which transferred to my suit .. still living that one down ..

Second pic .. who says our cars aren't about the oil . my first and second choice oils .. what oils to use the rookies ask ???? any more questions ??

and what garage is complete without an awesome display of oil filters...

I have a hard time even finding any decent supply of oil here! Its like a scavenger hunt. geez, you would think in Alberta you could find it at the corner store.

Jeeez! Why didn't I think about walking out of there with the plastic shopping crate?

I cleared 60+ quarts. I actually lost count at 60. OCD much? Not much...

You need a shelf of Brake Clean and a few rolls of "blue" paper towels.

Does Penn make a straight weight (30) oil? I used a straight weight synthetic (30w) in a turbo track 911. I've never seen such an oil anywhere else. It was a Synergy product and the turbo really liked it. Some guys swear by straight weight in fair climates.

VR is fun ..... hope you can work in tight places .... it helps to do the alternator wiring on the 911 if you are a gynacologist ..

Iceman,

Nice find and I like your garage storage rack set up.

All the local AZ stores in my area were all sold out of the VR-1.

One store manager told me that a couple of local muscle car racers were hitting the stores on a daily basis emptying the shelves

They make a 30 weight non-detergent break-in oil.
