FS..Pretty Rare and very nice 3.2 Targa Wide Body
1987 Porsche 911 Factory Wide Body Targa in White\Burgandy (1 of 4 per PCNA, others say a few more may have been produced). 44,000 miles. Pristine condition. Complete documentation from new including sales order, window sticker and all service records. Fully sorted mechanically; no issues. Factory options include turbo look (M491), leather/ flannel interior, limited slip differential, automatic heating control, full power right seat, full power left seat, automatic speed control, central locking system, rear window wiper, alarm system, radio "Reno" and steering wheel with raised hub. 16" Fuchs (7's & 9's) just professionally refinished and have never been driven on since. New Fuzion ZRi tires. Includes stock radio, owners manual, wheel locks, multiple original keys for ignition, alarm and hood release. The turbo look option (M491) includes front and rear spoilers (the rear spoiler known as the 'tea tray" for it's lipped edge is exclusive to the turbo look cars), front and rear flared fenders, turbo front hubs, rear suspension arms and torsion bar tube, the entire turbo brake system and the turbo's wheels and tires. And of course given that it's a 1987 model, comes with the famous, reliable and smooth shifting G-50 transmission. Open to any PPI or personal viewing. Call/email for additional pictures and info.

Wow...never seen a G-50 wide body targa before. At Hershey in April there was a wide body turbo cab. I think the coupes/targas are preferred in that no mechanical issues to deal with. Also the turbo I saw was an 88...so a 4 speed. IMHO the non turbo wide bodies with the G-50's are the best of the best of all the 3.2's More pictures please!

Nice car Barry
Your not going to sell that car at that price to a guy " looking for a 911" . If it is truely a special car ( and I have no doubt it is ) . You wil be looking for someone who is a collector or looking for some thing really special. For that money you could buy a Carrera and maybe have a Spare Carrera in the garage just in case !
Good luck ..

Hey Barry,
This is one great-looking car. In particular, I like the fabric seats. They were an option available in either pinstripe velour or flannel.
I agree with iceman that this is a special car and it would be a shame to let it go for too little money.
Since you're in NE, you might want to contact Richard Sloan in New Haven. He sells rare low-mileage Porsches like this..at what some consider inflated prices. However, if he looks at your car he can at least give you an idea of its market value, and he may even offer you a decent price himself.
Worth a try.

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Richard Sloan or his dealership...I've spoken with him on the phone and he e-mailed me some photos of a car I ended up not buying. Just a suggestion...good luck!

Hi Barry-Very Nice!
I have Hagerty Insurance and the latest Hagerty's mag has an article called "Cars To Buy Now" Two Porsches have write-ups; the 1976-89 911 Turbo and the 1984-89 911 Carrera. The later they priced from $8,900-$43,600. You might get your asking price but I have to agree its probably from a collector.
Good luck and let me know it you want the mag to sell with the car.

I agree with Helios/Iceman. You might try posting it on the 911 turbo forum as well. At least there they are accustomed to paying "mid $30's" for a wide body car. GLWS
