Hi Sky,

I'm not a buyer as I am very happy w/ my '79 but I am curious. What do you think it will sell for? I once thought I had to sell my '79 Targa because I was moving. Only lived there for 18 months but regretted selling the car for 10 years. Hope you get what you want but do you really want to be w/o a classic?

What is the difference between a car that has original miles and one that doesn't? Would the other be 'aftermarket miles'?

Good luck. You seem to be starting with a reasonable asking price.

It just means that the engine hasn't been overhauled. The miles are on the original engine.

one week to my move, very little interest and i feel like i'm giving it away. Amazing how bad these cars are valued. Nothing but low ballers and people thinking to take advantage of misfortune. In one case I had to send a guy to confession to have him reminded that "thou shall not steal", one step below really trying to get a fair buy. I was really hoping to sell it to a pelican or rennlister with as much interest and care for these masterpieces as I had, but it is probably not to be. So its off to Boston on the trailer next week to become a "summer" car. Is a three month a year car a sin??

You will love a Targa in NE. Drive it around, and have fun with a for sale sign in the window if you still want to sell. NH and Maine are a short hop from Boston.

It is a horrible time to sell.

I would bring it with you, enjoy driving it and wait a better offer.
