Socials, drivers Education especially, and weekend get-togethers are a huge bonus in 911 ownership.

picking it up maybe ---- its a ways from home IIRC a couple hours drive plus some chit chat.... talk to old owner, photos, dinner and figuring out where the gas goes in
Ed, you were absolutely dead on. Just reached home after the seller took a good 90 minutes explaining where what us..then pictures taken when keys were handed over..followed by a two hour ride home. assumed they are more prone to wearing out compared to g-50. is it rear that the g-50 need rebuilding.
Trying to sort out which car is more reliable plus likely to hold its future value and be in more demand 915
or G-50. Plan was to buy the right car the 1st time any advice by current owners of either,

And what about the '84-85 3.2's? You buy the entire car, not just the transmission. You should go for the best car. The 915 is just fine, Porsche only built 10's of thousands of them...
