Here is a link to the photos.... I am going to see it today.
Fair offer? Assume that it will pass PPI -- Whats it worth?

my initial comparable was this car....same color combo, same miles....just a better condition of the dash (no cracking) and seats were in better condition, at least from the photos. It went for something less that $19K.

My sense is that this one in Boulder, CO should be a tad under that, unless the market has actually increased. Then I'd call it at the same price.
Welcome opinions and input.
Thanks. John

I only good thing about the bad windshield is that you can replace the bad dash while the windshield is out. Both are very expensive items.
I wouldn't pay more than $17k.

I think Jason's car (the other Diamond Blue) was much nicer than this one. I can tell you mechanically Jason's was a solid car (I was considering it when he had it for sale). So everything else being equal to the other I can't see paying more than $17K.

I am no expert like many other on this site, but I have been looking for a G50 for some time and seen quite a few. I passed on a car almost identical to the one you list, seemed in better shape, almost perfect interior, 115K with a rebuilt top end, and newer clutch - it sold for $16.5. I bailed as I was not sure about Diamond Blue.
Not sure prices are moving much but I would say based on what I have seen, the car has to be pretty well sorted to get $20K.
My 2 cents

I have agreed to pay 19.5 for an 89 that is currently going through a top end rebuild. The interior in "my" car is 10/10, the exterior looks nice, but there are some paint chips on the hood, there are about 3 small chips where you can see that the car has had a complete respray some time ago that is now chipping off, so the paint is maybe a 6 out of 10. The Guards Red looks really nice from a few feet away but once you get close you can see the blemishes. No rust and a very straight body. Paint is still good to hold over for 2-3 more years, so I am happy with it. Mileage is 98k.
I think these cars are going for 17-20 or so. Of course there are always those good cars that go for less like the Diamond blue. If you can wait and you are willing to travel, then you probably should be able to find those good low priced (16-17k) cars.
