Logan: Thanks for that and, yes, I am still looking. Sadly, that car doesn't do it for me; again, the color -- I guess I'm not a silver guy. Now, if it was Venetian blue, like yours, that'd be a whole different story!

Meanwhile, that SC that I was looking at but passed on, the huge-long-thread one for 10K? A potential buyer at that price did get a PPI on it ... and he passed, too. I don't know what the results of the PPI were, exactly, but they couldn't have been terribly good.
I think the moral of the story is, you've got to pay more up front to get a car with a happy PPI.
OTOH, the seller did start off at $13K, so what does that tell you?
Well, for one thing: always get a PPI!

Thanks for thinking of me.

Yeah, the owner of the SC in the first post of this thread. Wait, is there another guy?

That is a pretty coupe. I like the "tea table" tail, especially on a targa, but works extremely well on any non-turbo 911.

No problem. I am a silver guy so it caught my eye while I was perusing Craigslist. If I stumble across anything else that looks interesting (and that isn't silver!), I'll post back.
