Playa, can you get your money back? You didn't quite buy a 911. If you were told that it was, it appears to have been grossly misrepresented. With all the mods this chassis has been through, it may well be an original 911 chassis that someone stuck a 912 engine in, but who knows. As already mentioned, the VIN will tell you (if it hasn't been scraped off).

By the time you get done upgrading that Frankin-Porsche you will have so much money into it that you will be shocked.

Plus, when it comes time to sell you will get a second shock when you realize that you will none of it back.

No I cant take it back and dont want to. So the 912 is a four cylinder 911 but I thought they stop making those in 1969? Mine is a 1976.

the '76 only 912E was a 911 w/ a VW Type IV motor. Filled the gap from 914 to 924. Neat car.

Funny, I just had an e-mail notification of a post by "Playa"... stating his pinkslip says 912. Now, I see the post isn't even here. This is exactly how the BS unfolded on Pelican.
