I love how the air box cover and air filter are missing.

The only thing new about this car is the speedometer.

Not even the correct speedometer for the year.

Airfilter is probably off becuase the guy was spraying starter fluid in there trying to get it running....

It does bring back memories- my first porsche was a Euro 1978 red targa (except my roll bar had the black matte finish....oh yeah, my car also ran )

My suggestion, bring the Sheriff along when you go see it. Have him run the vin number, just for giggles. The mileage, well it is xmas and we all believed in Santa Claus once, why not again.

Ahh...Ed where is your red Targa from?

You dog, how are you doing? I'm rarely on the 911 forum (993 mostly) but great to see you are out there living the dream!

Marco
I think it came with some TX plates....!!

I'm good, I hope you're well too. Business is a bit lean out here, but we're surviving, and I'm 1/2 mile away from one of the most awesome drives one can imagine, with a 911 that has seen several improvements this last year-what else can I ask for?

We're thinking of a visit to TX in Spring. Charlie passed away a few weeks ago, and we plan to take some of his ashes back-he was a Texan after all-but he took to the beach here quite well.

Merry Christmas to you and your family Marco!

Ed,

Sorry to hear about Charlie, he was a good dog.

We are doing fine (lean here too) and everyone's healthy so no complaints here.

Have a great Christmas and look me up when you get to town.

PS Cops everywhere here, laser, radar, traps, etc, so paranoid has really taken the joy out of driving the Porsche
