Default Wheel Spacer Question

For those of you running spacers on your SC's do you have spacers on the front and back, or just the back? For those running spacers on the front and back do your wheels rub the fenders when you hit a good sized bump? I went back to the fuch's set-up (6x16 front and 7x16 rear) because my BBS LM's rubbed in the front so I had to raise the ride height up enough to prevent this, but it did not give me the raked look i was going after. Before I install the spacers on the front I want to make sure i don't have the same issues. Ride height is set at 25 inches in the front. Thanks in advance for your replies.

from the pic in your sig, it looks like your front wheels are too wide / offset wrong or something. That could be the issue...

IMHO I think you should get the ride hight, corner weights and geometry all done at the same time. Once the ride hight is done, it will have to be changed to get the corner weights right. The geometry will come last and wont effect the ride hight.

I've got Boxter twist rims for the track 7.5x17F 8x17R. I have 1" spacer F and 1 1/2" R. lowered and very stiff suspension but no rubbing

If those wheels aren't built specifically for a t-bar 911, and your trying to use spacers to make them fit, you may always have issues.

With the car that high in the back, you're certainly safe there!
