Big big stretch. No one even made an opening bid. Next time lower the opening bid price. Maybe generate a bit of interest and have a pool of bidders for a second chance offer.

You know, that does look to be a very nice car. Although I agree that this is tough market for sellers and bargains seemingly abound, I still can't help but feel that this car potentially represents good value, based on what I can tell from the description.
When I think of how much money I have put in my '85 with almost twice the mileage (and no G50 etc) trying to get it "nice" and then look at this car, well, I think I likely would have been better off with this car.

There is no question in my mind this looks like a good car to consider if you're in the market. IMO the market is just not paying that level for a car like that right now.

I appreciate the input. These cars are really all over the map. Depending on condition, miledge, etc, etc. This car is so nice. Original paint, low miles, 2200/year. Garaged, really neat upgrades, while maintaining original car. Winter is a tough time to sell, no doubt, but someone who wants a "no issues" solid 911, with some perfomance upgrades thrown in, will see the value. There are alot aof ratty 911s out there just waiting to get into your wallet. This is NOT one of them. A truly beautiful survivor.

I relisted, dropped the buy it now by 1k. new Item# 230409407777. There are many cars on e-bay/ autotrader with many more miles, not as well kept, or documented selling for not much less. This is a solid buy excellent value.

Looks like a very very nice car and you may get that price with patience. Its not so much the season as it is the economy and market in general. Sharp car good luck with the sale!

That said, your car looks like a beautiful example and I hope you get your asking price.

for me the issue is the white seats. I think that is linen interior, not gray.
With the deviating carpet converting to full black will get you the money you want.
Finding full leather door panels and center console might be a challenge though.

The interior is "Dove Gray". Triple black might be more desireable, but... I am patient, its a great ride. I know wiith time, someone looking for their "right" car will jump on it. To be honest, I would love to keep it. But I just purchased a 96 TT and have a restored 57 Speedster taking up space. This one sadly has to find a new home. Its so sad!

A lot of competition out there in the market. With 993s in the mid twenties, 964s in the high teens, and Boxsters/996s in the teens now, you will have to wait for the right buyer. When the market cycles around, you may have better luck. Besides Ebay is the last place any self-respecting Porsche buyer will go to purchase, but all of them look in order to "gauge" the market. Lowering the price can be a mistake. Raise the price until it sells, and find a better outlet to market it in.

Its listed in the Porsche Panorama want ads, along with the North Jersey Porsche PCA Chapter mag. Im just starting to get it out there. Im not in a rush, and not looking to "beat" anyone. Im open to best offers, but you get alot of low ball, "steal it" characters. A Porsche member will see whats been done, appreciate the upgrades, do a PPI and make a sound offer. Id be open to letting it go for a little less.

Nice car. Looking at the wear on the driver seat welting, I'm wondering if you have looked for a dye that would match that. In my case, about the same mileage car, but with a black (way too easy) I got some Kiwi shoe dye and that made a huge difference in these minor wear spots. Frankly, I like that color interior. Had similar interior on my 944S with granite grey paint.
