Ed, how many other cars do you think have such a cult following ? May be WV bug, MINI, corvette ? Doubt bimmers or other models within Porsche. Correct me if I am wrong. I am just as aspiring petrolhead or should I say motorhead?

I'm sure there are other cults. The thing is, they're all wrong. We all know what car truly is the best, the others just don't have a clue. Actually, the 928 guys are pretty rabid too-I know of several guys who own more than 7 of them.

WOW. Slide valve throttles with top mounted injectors, twin ignition, It would take forever to adjust the valves.

Yeah, a 12 cylinder motor would be bad enough.....but 16 cylinders? It would take 2 days.

If I'm not mistaken, there were only two of those made?

I was looking thru my Rennsport Reunion pics last night to dig that one out. Damn, there were a BUNCH of awesome cars. More significant race cars from Porsche history than you can believe.

Some cars are like crack, others are like heroin. 911s are like that girl you met when you were 16, that you could never forget.

I really like the rear wiper and the ability to operate the power windows with ignition off prior to opeming the door.
