That prices for parts are about half of what an equivalent part on my 88 928S4 cost....

Knowing that once I buy some 16" Grand Prix White painted Fuchs wheels my car will be restored to its build sticker (except for the front and rear spoilers, Griffith's A/C, turbo tie rods, turbo valve covers, and after market stereo!)

I love the air-cooled "growl" from third all the way up to fifth and the way she pushes me back in my seat..the closest I'll ever get to a rocket ship to the Moon. I like this and the fact that she still gets looks at her age, even without the full restoration done yet.

I've never had another car with such a great view out the front window. Looking down that hood and seeing those headlight humps is a beautiful thing.
I also love it that teenage kids come up to me and say, "cool car, man." The same thing I would have said 22 years ago about the same car.

I like the sound she makes revving up between 3500 to 6000. It's a sound only a Porsche 911 can make.
I like her big butt and sexy curves. I like the way the dash gauges are laid out. I like the smell she has when I sit in her first thing in the morning. I like the way she smiles at me as I walk up to her front end.
