Default Original window sticker?

Is there any way to get a copy of a p-car's original window sticker from Porsche or another source using the VIN#?

I tried to do this and Porsche said no, it's illegal to reproduce a Monroney label (window sticker).

However, for about $100, PCNA will gladly send you a Certificate of Authenticity filled with mistakes.

+ another.

This is probably not helpful or relevant, but it is interesting given PCNA's position of it being illegal to reproduce a window sticker:
I wanted a window sticker for my old Alfa and found a guy (an Alfa guy, so he couldn't help with a p-car), who reproduced them. I provided him with the options, color, serial #, etc of my car and he reproduced an exact duplicate of a window sticker for the Alfa matching the information I provided. The only thing I needed to "fudge" was port of entry since I didn't really know for sure. He used the exact, correct type style, etc. And it was cheap......$15 as I recall. Since I'm not trying to pass the Alfa's window sticker off as an original (only to use at shows) I'm not worried if the POE is (in)correct.

Perhaps there is a p-car guru who can do the same? Apparently it wasn't difficult for this guy at all. I'd love to have a copy of the window sticker for my C2S.

Cheers.

This is one area I wish some Chinese guy would look into and start reproducing. Heck, they violate every other patent law...why not a silly little label. Probably manufacturing cost of dime and sell for a dollar.

I've been waiting two years now for the PO of my car to send the original window sticker, he's only 3 hours from me.

I would love to get a reproduction or copy of the window sticker, I've kept them for all of my cars, this is the first car I've had without it

I dont think its illegal to reproduce the sticker as long as the company doing it is authorized by the manufacturer. There are several sites that do a killing reproducing Chevy, Buick, etc monroney stickers.

Id love to get my hands on one for my car. If I knew all the information Id try to do one in Illustrator myself.

The 993 guys have made up a spreadsheet that reproduces the window sticker for that era.

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...ne-please.html

And there is one for the SC on Pelican.

There are probably more formats floating around if you are looking for a particular year.

Here is my reproduction. I made it several years ago with CorelDraw. I researched all of the info & stickers from previous posts.

Neat! $50K for a cabriolet back in 1987! That's a lot of money.

I would really like a blank copy of that as well if it is possible, you ave done a great job replicating an original.
